Cape to Cape in a vintage bi-plane.
Most swedes (in fact all so far) have arrived at Hunneyball House after spending almost a day in the air. In October SAS Pilot Johan Wiklund will arrive in the Cape. “Ok but what’s so special about that?” you ask. “He’s a pilot!”
Well he’s flying an open-cockpit plane vintage plane (80 years old in fact) all the way from the utmost Northern point of mainland Norway to Cape Point. It will take him approximately 7 weeks.
At low height he will cross Scandinavia, mainland Europe and then Africa via the Great Rift Valley in his 1935 De Havilland 60 Moth biplane.
