OUT & ABOUT IN STELLENBOSCH
Hunneyball House is within walking distance from the centre Stellenbosch and offers guests a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and bistro’s. Here are some of our favourites:
Oppie Dorp – 600m
Is a contemporary boutique restaurant that is cosy and casual. The menu is small but unique and varied with an excellent wine list. The service is friendly and of highest standards and we always are made to feel at home. We love the ambience under the trees on the sidewalk and are always impressed by the combinations of their food.
The Big Easy – 600m
Ernie Els’s restaurant, The Big Easy is named after his nickname. Set in in a beautiful 16th century Cape Dutch building on Dorp Street, La Gratitude, the restaurant reflects an elegant French style. The wine selection includes over 170 options and must be experienced before leaving town. 95 Dorp Street, Stellenbosch – www.thebigeasyrestaurant.co.za
